PERSONAL DATA DELETION

URBALIA S.A.S., tax ID (NIT) 901.952.682-6, is the data controller for the personal data it collects through its website and its WhatsApp line.

This page explains how to request the deletion of that data.

This English version is provided for the convenience of international clients. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version published at urbalia.site/eliminacion-de-datos shall prevail.

WHAT YOU CAN REQUEST

As the owner of your personal data, you may ask us at any time to:

Tell you what information we hold about you.

Correct or update it.

Withdraw your authorization to process it.

Delete it.

These rights are granted under article 8 of Colombian Law 1581 of 2012.

HOW TO REQUEST IT

Write to us through either of these two channels:

Please tell us your name, a contact detail, and what you would like us to do with your information. No special form is required and you do not need to come in person.

If you write on WhatsApp, simply telling us that you want your data deleted is enough. The request is registered immediately, with its date.

WHAT IS DELETED

Once your request is approved we delete your name, your phone number, your email address, the conversations you held with Urbalia, the search criteria you shared with us, the material we sent you, and any identification details we may have collected in order to authorize your entry to a property viewing.

WHAT CANNOT BE DELETED, AND WHY

Colombian law requires us to retain certain information even when you request its deletion. Specifically:

The documentation of closed transactions, for the periods required by accounting, tax and contractual regulations.

The record of your own request and of our response, which is the evidence that we honored your right.

Outside of those cases, deletion is complete and permanent.

HOW LONG WE TAKE TO RESPOND

Enquiries: ten business days, extendable by a further five business days.

Claims and deletion requests: fifteen business days, extendable by a further eight business days.

We will confirm in writing once your request has been resolved.

IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED

You may file a complaint with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio) once the procedure before Urbalia has been exhausted.
